So tell us about yourself.
Hey! My name is Lyra (yes, my character was based off of me a little) and I have been role playing for at least 3 years. I found this place through TWT, another forum, and I couldn't be more exited that I did. You can contact me through email or pm at colortellie@yahoo.com. Though all of this is fine and all, I have more to me than just my skills online. Some of them include writing poetry, drawing, and singing and I've been doing this for 14 years. Well, have fun reading all about the other Lyra!.

(Don't have anything for Lyra, so how about her mum instead?)
Luna Lovegood sat at the Ravenclaw table, eating slowly. She was deep in thought about the upcoming ball, which was to be right after dinner. She really had no idea who she would like to be with. It would be best, obviously, if it was one of her friends. Harry or Ron or Neville. They, at least, were relatively nice to her but didn’t ignore her entirely. There was nothing she could do, and she really wasn’t all that concerned.
Instead of continuing to ponder who her partner might end up being, she started to think about what color she might get. She wouldn’t have a problem with most colors, to be honest. Purple was nice, and so were blue and yellow. And, of course, there were so many shades!! There had to be if the only way couple could find each other was by their colors.
She sighed quietly, pushing away her plate of food. Even though she had been eating slowly, she was full before the majority of the other students around her. She never did eat very much. It wasn’t like she was anorexic or anything – she just had kind of a slow metabolism and a very small appetite. She looked around her dreamily, knowing she shouldn’t go up to her dorm yet. The house elves might not be done delivering packages yet. Then again, they were quite fast. Still, she decided she might as well wait a few minutes at least.
She passed the time by listening to the conversations around her. Nearly everyone was talking about the ball. She smiled softly – dances and things of the sort always cause so much excitement at Hogwarts. It really was a very nice time, as long as you didn’t worry about them too much.
