It’s September 2008, Dean Winchester has been in hell for nearly four months. Four months on Earth... forty years in Hell. Dean has all ready, inadvertently, broken the first seal, and Lilith is beginning to break the seals. The Angels in Heaven are trying to protect those seals, but they know what needs to be done. They need to pull Dean Winchester back from Hell... it will be a fierce battle, but it needs to be done.
Hunters are unaware of the impending war, but they can sense something's up. The demons are pulling back, avoiding hunters more often now, the spirits are becoming angrier, and more active. Even the werewolves, vampires and other creatures of the dark are retreating into hiding. Nothing is as it seems...
