Dear Diary,
I'm so glad I got this for an early birthday present. I've got a few friends but it's so hard to talk to some of them... I think I'll be writing in this a lot, to be honest.

So... this is my sixth year at Hogwarts. I'm in Ravenclaw. Although one of my best friends is the Gryffindor chaser, I don't follow Quidditch at all. Yes, I know, I know... it's weird for someone in the magical world. But I'm a girl, all right? And my mum and dad don't spend much time thinking about Quidditch... the Quibbler hardly ever talks about stuff like that, and that's what mum does research for.

I'm looking forward to this year, actually. I've had fun in my first five, and this year should be no different. I'm hoping to get a boyfriend at some point... I've only ever had one. I dated Darien, the Gryffindor friend I mentioned earlier, for a while back in my third year. It didn't REALLY work out... but we're still really good friends... obviously. Sigh...

I've got my sights on a boy... sort of. I'll probably write a little bit more about him later on. This entry is getting REALLY long, though, so I think I'll be done for now XD
