Rules; ME AND JANA ONLY THIS IS TO REMINISE ON ATE GUILD DAYS ONLY!!! Ummm. Jana, this is back when they’re in 5th year where they started, so that Hunter is there because I wanted to kind of incorporate him into the post to make it longer, mkay? Uhhh. INTRO NOW: Sitting upside down in an armchair by the fire, a girl kept looking at the clock, rather impatiently as the seconds ticked by in a fashion that seemed slower and slower every one that passed. Her long blond hair was just brushing the floor and her crystal clear blue eyes scanned the room trying to see if it was empty yet. Unfortunately from her position upside down she really could not see anything above the chair she was laying on, so she flipped her legs off the chair over her head and to the floor so she was now standing. She tossed her thick hair back so it was not in her face and she looked around.
No one in sight; it’s about damn time, she thought to herself. She stowed her wand in her pocket and Alexis Seager immediately went for the portrait hole leading out of the Common Room and into the halls which were of course out of bounds to be traveling after hours, but since when did that stop her? She was going out to the lake the meet up with her best friend, Gabby Marshall who was stopping in the kitchen right now to get them some sweets to tide them over until they got to Honeydukes, which was their final destination tonight. The store owners both knew the rules about the students not being allowed in Hogsmeade when it was not a designated day and the after hours, but they also liked Alex and Gabby very much and were always happy to restock their sweet tooth cravings.
As soon as she swung the portrait hole door open there was no sooner a boy with longish chocolate brown hair walking down the boys dormitory steps and nodding disapprovingly. “Why Alexis Seager, I can’t believe you.” He said and got a cold glare from his sister imeadiatly when he called her Alexis. No one did that, not if they wanted to live at least, because Alex Seager will bite your head off for calling her Alexis, even once. “Going to get sweets, and not even offering to bring some back for her dear older brother; not very thoughtful of you now is it?” he said and watched her glare turn into a small mischievous smirk.
“Candy is what you want, eh? You got money for me, I’m not spending mine on you,” she said and she ran her fingers over the heavy satchel of money she had for herself. Her older brother Hunter handed her a couple of Galleons and told her to get something he would like. She nodded and then wandered her way out of the portrait hole, finally getting ready to meet Gab. She would surely be angry that Alex had taken so long to get there, she was not always the most patient person in the world.
When she was outside the school’s large oak front doors, she took the form of a white artic wolf, her crystal blue eyes still looking the same as in her human form, and she ran off to the lake as quickly and swiftly as possible. When she got there she saw a figure down by the waters edge, and she quickly assumed it was Gabby. (Who else would be out in the dark at eleven thirty at night by the lake when they had been supposed to meet there fifteen minutes ago after all?) “Sorry I’m late,” she said and turned back into her normal slender human form.

a short figure leaned against a shelf in the library, eating a bar of chocolate with one hand and reading a book with the other. the librarian passed her, stopped, and then shot her the usual annoyed look that turned to anger. she then shooed her out of the library with an irritated, "miss marshall, i know i've told you before - no candy in the library!" the nearby students snickered, irritating the librarian more. grinning at the librarian and students, gabriella marshall slipped out the library.
she hesitated at a staircase, debating whether or not to get alex from the common room first and then go to the kitchens, or just trust alex to meet her on time. gabby decided on just going to the kitchens - alex would get there on time, and she really needed something to eat. a chocolate bar hadn't been enough for her. a few minutes later, she slipped through the entrance to the kitchens, where house elves instantly crowded around her, asking what she wanted. in five minutes she was leaving with a sandwich and a plate of just baked cookies, the house elves ushering her out.
gabby left the castle unnoticed - unless you count the ghost that floated by and barely even glanced at her - and walked to the lake, where she knew alex would find her. it was a habit gabby had picked up a few years ago; going out on walks, late at night, when she couldn't sleep or just felt like it. the lake was her usual spot to go to, and alex would know that. she came here at least once a week usually, as gabby rarely fell asleep easily. she had even fallen asleep here a few times, which had landed her in detention from an annoyed professor mcgonagall after the third time.
now gabby sat cross legged on a rock, staring across the lake - her way to meditate. and as alex was still late, she had nothing else to do. her thoughts wandered around to random topics as she waited and ate cookies from the plateful that she had stole from the kitchens. she looked down at the plate sadly when they were all gone, and then got up, walking barefoot down the edge of the water for a little while. her feet were just starting to feel numb from the cold water of the lake when she heard alex.
gabby turned, giving alex her usual 'extremely annoyed' look, which practically everyone had been on the receiving end of (mostly slytherins, thought, of course) at one time or another. "finally," gabby said in a grumpy tone, heading back to her rock to get her shoes. "well, i finished all the stuff i stole from the kitchens. that's what you get for being late," she added, grinning at alex. turning on her heel, she left the plate there and then headed off towards to road to hogsmeade as a cat.

Walking slowly over to Gabby seemed a waste of time when she suddenly stood up and turned to face her. She told Alex she ate all the food the stole from the kitchens, but that was of course after she gave her the usual, ‘you’re late again’ glare that she had basically knew was coming the minute she got stopped by Hunter in the Common Room. “Hey, blame Hunter for me being late, not me. And you should’ve saved me some! It better not have been cookies this time, or I’ll just about hex you now,” she said with a smirk as Gabby spun on her heel transforming into a cat on the first step, and started to walk down the path to Hogsmeade that way.
Alex grinned and followed suit turning once more into a snow white wolf, and followed Gabby down the trail. The two had done this several times in their school career, even before either Alex or Gabby had become Animagus. Of course, Alex had done so first, with the help of her uncle, and then they and a small group of their friends had wanted to as well, so Alex helped them to become animagi. Gabby was the first to change after Alex, taking up the form of a small cat, which suited her if you knew Gabby well enough.
The girls walked down the path and wandered right into the village without a problem whatsoever. The village was mostly asleep with the exception of late night drunkards in the pub and the people holding their shops open in hopes of late night stragglers hoping to get some things on their way home from work that evening, -though it was rather late for that too. Alex and Gabby were walking down as though there were nothing to bother them, the strange animals accompanying each other did not make the locals wonder if something was up, of course. They were used to weird occurrences since the time of the marauders.
Now the two were two buildings behind Honeydukes and Alex nodded her shaggy wolf’s head toward the small alley way between the two buildings and she wandered down it without being noticed by anyone but Gabby. When she got back there, she made sure they would be secluded before changing back to her human form; a short and slim girl with long golden blond hair. While she waited for Gabby to follow suit she fingered the satchel of gold she had and compared how heavy hers was to the amount of fold her brother had given her.
“I wont run out of sweets for at least two weeks with this amount of money,” she said softly with a smirk growing on her small featured face.

gabby rolled her eyes and then grinned widely. "well, if i were you, i'd use his money and buy a lot of candy 'for him'... and just forget to give him all of it. she continued to walk away a little, and then turned back to alex. "of course it was cookies, alex, but you wouldn't dare hex me... you know that, alexis seager." smirking at her best friend, she quickly spun on her heel and started to get as far as possible from alex. that would be the normal reaction from someone who dared to call alex her real first name, but gabby wasn't exactly normal. she was, of course, in her animagus form, a small cat. she turned into her cat form with a practiced ease as she turned, from the experience of over a year and over a hundred practices. she knew alex wouldn't hex her for either reason, because she was probably the only person who could get away with calling alex by her full name. continuing down the normal path they usually took to hogsmeade, gabby didn't look back to check if alex was coming; she knew she would. alex couldn't resist a trip for candy. she was nearly as bad as gabby was about sugar rand candy, if not worse. gabby slipped into hogsmeade easily - nobody notices a small cat at night. it was a little odd, though, to see the wolf that was alex walking with her, but gabby didn't really bother worrying about it. the marauder's had been different - a rat, a stag, a dog, and a werewolf. gabby padded over to honeydukes, then slipped behind the building. she changed back to a human, and smiled. then she frowned, shaking out her shoes - they always managed to get grass and rocks in them when she changed. then she straightened up and waited for alex to change back into a human as well. when she did, gabby saw alex comparing the bag of gold that was her own, and the bit of money hunter had given her. rolling her eyes, shook her curly hair out of her ponytail - she couldn't change into animagus form without putting her hair up, or else it got tangled and often leaves and grass got stuck in her hair as well, which she hated. gabby watched alex smirk, talking about how she wouldn't run out of sweets, with impatience. "come on, alex, let's go already. we can't be out too late." TAG , ALEX SEAGER ONLY NOTES , LATE & CRAP POST! YAY! XDD SORRRYYYYY[/blockquote]

as gabby spoke she had a rather mishcevious smirk on her face which before she said anything, meant she had just eaten a plate full of amazing fresh cookies and she had not saved a single one for her. and then when she was about to turn into a cat to run off, she said you wouldn't dare hex me... you know that alexis seager, and she took off running. with that alex felt a small flair of annoyance towards gabby. first she did not save her any cookies and now she called her by her full name, which anybody else wouldn't dare do in the first place. especially if they had done it before or seen the wrath unleashed from alex's wand if someone does call her by her full name.
the run to hogsmeade was rather uneventful. occasionally when they went out like this they would get wondering looks from bystanders considering the obvious difference in their allied animagus forms. a cat and a wolf did not often run together and a wolf did not often run without a pack. but the people of the little wizarding community seemed to be used to it by now. after all, a while back, an even weirder array of animals ran together and called themselves the marauders. alex would like to think that her and gabby and their friends were a little like the marauders because they always stirred up a little trouble and even better never took to well to the rules of staying in after curfew. where was the fun in that, after all?
as alex finished comparing the bags of money she looked up at gabby, just as she told her to hurry up, they couldn't be too late. "yeah right, gabby. you know as well as i do that our classes don't start until ten tomorrow. there is no rush," she said with a smirk that did not fade as the two rounded the corner and alex pushed open the door to the candy shop. inside there was walls and barrels filled with the most delicious candy in the world. "god, why can't we just take the entire store back to the castle," alex joked as she walked into the familiar setting. she soon looked back at gabby, "i'm thinking about spending his money first and doing what you said. think he would hunt me down?" she asked with a sarcastic tone even though you could tell she was serious about the thought. OOC post sucked. sorry. >< got bored in graphics it seemed like a good time to reply but it ended up not so good =[
