Sitting in a hallway in the center of the castle, there was a boy with flaming red hair and bright blue eyes, looking around for someone, or something. He heaved a big sigh and looked at his watch impatiently. He was just about to leave, when a loud popping noise behind him almost made him jump. But of course, growing up practically in a joke shop made it a little harder to scare a guy. Chase Weasley spun on his heel, turning around only to find Peeves, the poltergeist, above him with some sort of noise maker in his ghostly hands.
“What are you doing now, Peeves?” he asked slightly annoyed with the poltergeist.
“Shouldn’t Peevesie be asking you the same question, Mr. Weasley?” Peeves said with a sly look on his face, then adding to his previous words. “Or are you just waiting on orders from the young Miss Weasley?”
Scowling, Chase glared at Peeves. “I don’t wait on orders from anyone, but I am waiting for her to get here, yes,” he said, looking at his watch once more. Cameryn must be up to some prefect duties or something because she was never late for a prank, especially one on the current Potions Master. He currently was their favorite topic of the year, yet Chase had no idea why except that he was giving them the most homework out of all their teachers. Good news was even picking on a teacher like this; there was virtually no chance of being caught so Cam had no worries of being stricken of her prefect’s title.
Chase paced a few steps, back and forth for about two or three minutes before getting bored of that, and leaning against the wall, having finally rid the hall of Peeves by threatening to call up the Bloody Barron, who even though it was the Slytherin Ghost, was very fond of Chase. That had made the poltergeist leave him alone on the spot because everyone knew that Peeves would not disobey the Barron, and not having to have bothered him and bringing him away from what he was doing would keep the Barron happy.
Suddenly from down the hall he could see a silver figure, which turned out to be a horse, running the length of the corridor. When Cameryn's patronus reached Chase it delivered the message, “Chase, plans changed, I’ll be there in half an hour, some Slytherins need their asses beat,” and then faded away shortly after. Chase had a smirk on his face even though he groaned loudly. Why would Cam choose now to teach the ungrateful prats their lesson? She had a way of just taking matters into her own hands no matter the situation, and doing it when it was bothering her; especially if it included revenge on someone.
Meanwhile, down stairs Cameryn Weasley was sneaking her way into the prefects’ bathroom. Why she would be sneaking in there if she was a prefect you might wonder? Well that is simple, the Slytherins that angered her were sixth year prefects, and quite the little prats as well. With her wand out in front of her, she looked around the door, and whispered, “Muffliato,” under her breath. Soon the Slytherins were looking at each other with annoyed expressions that Cam knew were because of the annoying buzzing and ringing in their ears that just wouldn’t go away.
With that under control she moved around the back of the tub, where there was a wall, still crouched down low as not to be caught. She twirled her wand in her fingers, and thought for a moment… What havoc would she be wreaking this lovely afternoon? After settling for a few simple hexes, she snuck out of the bathroom and back into the hallway where she promptly started to laugh hysterically as she thought of the look on the bigger ones face when he had watched his friend grow a handle bar mustache that was bright purple, as well as a beard that was a matching shade of pink and was so long it would have covered his privates. Then again, he was not laughing for long when he had suddenly tried to speak and a girls voice came out, and he was had long girly blond hair.
A satisfied smile on her face Cameryn walked away as fast as she could because she knew they would be getting dressed after realizing that their wrong doer was already out of the bathroom, and on their way to look around for someone who would be so crazy as to do such a thing. Of course, seeing them run around school like that would have been priceless, but she could not be the only one in the hallway right when they emerged from the bathroom. She then made her way upstairs to meet Chase in the fourth floor corridor.
Upon the arrival of his sister, Chase saw the enormous grin on her face and said questioningly, “That good, aye? You leave me here to be questioned and tortured by Peeves, while you have that much fun? I can’t believe you.” But the smirk soon came to his face too as his twin told him of what she had done. With that they were now standing in what seemed to be quite the deserted hallway, trying to see what the prankster plans for this afternoon were, and if they would need to go to their dorms to get anything their dad had sent them from the joke shop to pull it off.

Lyra Lovegood was sitting on a bench near the fourth floor corridor, a journal propped open on her lap. She was smiling slightly as she wrote. It was actually her diary, and she had just reached the part about the boy that she 'had her sights on', Chase Weasley. She hadn't mentioned him by name in the diary... yet. But she probably would, over time. She hadn't written this down either, but she'd heard a rumor that he was close to having a girlfriend - she really hoped this wasn't true. She sighed quietly, deep in thought. A few minutes later though, her thoughts were interrupted as a voice called her name.
"Hey! Lyra! I've been looking for you. Where've you been all day?" Lyra jumped and hurried to shove her diary back into her bag, which was sitting next to her on the bench. She stood and looked towards Darien, a good friend of hers and the boy who had just spoken to her. She put on what she hoped was a nonchalant smile and walked towards him.
"I've been here most of the day, to be honest," she replied, laughing softly as she reached him. "Why've you been looking for me?"
"No reason," Darien replied, smirking as he continued to walk (assuming Lyra would follow, which she did) down the fourth floor corridor. "I've finished all my homework and there's no practice today, so I've been bored out of my mind."
"Oh, is that all?" Lyra asked, laughing. "Thanks, Dar, I feel so loved now," she teased lightly.
He stuck his tongue out playfully at her and was just about to respond when he spotted them - the twins, Chase and Cameryn Weasley, at the end of the corridor. They were talking to each other in hushed, excited voices - a dead giveaway that they were up to something. "Hey Chase. Cameryn," Darien called out, slowing to a stop with Lyra by his side as he neared the pair. "What are you two scheming about this time?" he asked teasingly.
