Allison sat swinging very slowly and humming softly to herself. A slight breeze ruffled her thick, black hair. She ran a pale, slender hand through it and smiled serenly. Allison liked to be alone sometimes. It helped her organize her thoughts. She stared off into the distance, her pale green eyes gentle and thoughtful.
What she was thinkg of was something that had taken her by surprise. It was the sight of a boy she had known for a long time and he had totally looked new to her! His name was Tyler and he was a Hufflepuff. She didn't know him very well, but this morning he had looked very different and new.
Shaking her head, Allison smiled wryly down at herself; as if he could like a girl like her. She was dressed simply in a plain black t-shirt and dark jeans. her long, black overcoat was unbuttoned and ruffled in the breeze. She was very pretty, but not exactly beautiful.
Sighing to herself, she continued to hum and swing slowly back and forth. Allison closed her eyes for a moment and breathed the air in deeply.

Victoire walked slowly towards the Playground. Her blonde hair was up in a high ponytail and she wore a black Led Zeppelin T-Shirt that she had picked up in a Muggle store, a pair of denim skinny jeans, and her black converses high tops and her leather jacket. She was in no rush, which was why she was dressed so casually. She walked into the playground and silently cursed to herself. She was hoping it would be empty.
There were two other people in the park, a boy and a girl. The boy was sitting on a bench and the girl was on the swings. Tori made her way over to an abandoned bench and plopped her big black bag down. She then carefully pulled out her camera. Originally she was going to draw the playground but she felt that a picture would really capture its eerie beauty.
She slowy brought her camera up to her eye and peered through it and then realised why the girl looked so familiar. "Allison? Hey Allison!" she called out.

Allison looked up, startled. "Tori!"she cried. "Hi! Come sit with me." She motioned to the swing next to her and smiled a shy smile. Victoire had been her friend for a long time. They had gone to school together, and Tori had graduated 2 years ahead of her. Allison had missed her friend, even though they had kept in contact.

"I haven't seen you in eons, Allison!" Tori said with a grin. She took a seat beside Allie. Allison was one of Tori's many school friends but she was two years behind her. She missed Allison. She was always very mellow and fun to pal around with.
"So, what's going on?" she asked excitedly, she really missed Hogwarts and was hoping to find out anything new that had happened since she graduated.

Allison smiled happily. "Nothing really is going on. But well..."she forced back tears. "You remember An, right? She sort of left me for her boyfriend. We aren't friends anymore. Our whole group of friends followed her. I was alone for a while. But, now I'm friends with Isabel Peakes. She's a very nice Ravenclaw, and my total opposite. She loves to talk and play sports." For Allison, that was an extremely long speech. She almost never talked that much at once.

"I'm sorry, Alli." Tori said sympathetically and hugged Allison. She knew how quiet and shy Allison was and it probably really hurt her alot to lose her friends like that. "But she probably wasn't worth your time anyway." Tori said hoping to make the girl feel better.
She looked around the playground again. It was so calm and peaceful, she liked the quiet for once. "Oh, I don't know if I told you or not but I'm going back to Hogwarts to teach Charms!" she said suddenly lighting up. Charms was one of her best subjects and she was glad she was asked to fill in for Flitwick. "Hopefully, I'll be your teacher this year." she giggled, sticking out her tounge.

Allison smiled sadly, "Thanks Tori. Maybe she wasn't worth it."
Her green eyes grew wide, "Yes Professor Weasley. I'll be a good girl in your classes and do all my homework and listen to you always." She laughed and it was a gentle friendly sound.

"'Atta girl. And if you want I'll take house points away from An and maybe throw in a detention or two." Victoire said with a wink. This An girl seemed like a total bitch in her opinoin. "Isabelle Peaks has always been nice though." she said thoughtfully.
Tori threw her head back and luaghed. "Pshaw! You know how I am. I'll probably be worse behaved then you guys!"

"That's ok. I wouldn't want you to be in trouble for abusing your power." Allison smiled. "Yeah. Isabel's really nice. She's extremely competitive though. She has me cheer for her at every Quiddich match that Ravenclaw is in." She laughed.
"Yeah I know. Not too much rowdiness, now,"Allison said in a mock serious voice. "I'll give you a little signal if your class is getting too crazy. It'll sound like this,"she tipped her head back and let a bloodcurdling scream escape her lips for a few seconds. "Do you think that might tip you off?"Allison asked sweetly.

Tori said with a mischivious grin "They need all the support they can get when they verse Gryffindor." She was glad Allison went to Quidditch games, it gave her a chance to meet more friends and not be upset over this icky An girl.
Tori replied in her best fake-stern tone "I think that will do, nicely." and then giggled. She was going to have fun as a teacher and hopefully it'll give her a chance to get close with Teddy Lupin again. They had been dating a couple of years ago and then he went off to backpack around Europe and she hadn't seen him much since.

Allison laughed, "Nu-uh! Slytherin's got the Cup this year!" Despite the fact that Allison was a Slytherin and Victoire had been a Gryffindor, they still got along. They'd had mild competitiveness over the years, but nothing to get in the way of their friendship.
Allison shook her black hair back, "I think there's another reason you're so excited. And it absolutely positively has absolutely nothing to do with Teddy Lupin. Right?" she smiled. Allison remembered how good Tori and Teddy had been together. They had been so in love......and then Teddy went backpacking and spoiled it. But Allison was ready to give him a second chance if it made her friend happy.

Tori stuck out her tounge and said "Yeah, right! Slytherin doesn't stand a chance!" she giggled and jokingly punched her friend in the arm lightly. Tori didn't really play Quidditch but she enjoyed watching it and always rooted for Gryffindor no matter what.
When Allison mentioned Teddy, Tori couldn't help but blush. "Pshaw? Who said anything about Teddy?" she asked trying not to show how embarassed she was. She was hoping Allison wouldn't remember anything about Tori's feelings for Teddy but she was telling the truth. One of the reasons she was working at Hogwarts was to be close to him again, she couldn't deny it.

Allison grinned and shook her head. "Not with the team THEY'VE got," she teased. She laughed and felt so much better. Her days of feeling alone and hurt felt like a distant bad dream.
She raised an eyebrow. "C'mon Tori! Like you haven't thought about him every second you've been away from him." Allison leaned over and lightly punched Tori's shoulder. "Hey, but it's ok. I sort of have this thing for this other guy...." She blushed. It took a lot for a guy to fit her standards.

Tori chuckled and shook her head "Ok, well good luck because you'll definately need it. Espeacially with my cousin Sirius playing for Gryffindor." she said with a grin. Debating Quidditch was always fun for her.
Tori was still blushing. "Alright so you're right. I do miss him alot but that doesn't mean anything." she said feeling slightly awkward for admiting how she felt about Teddy. Thankfully, the subject switched to a certain mystery man Allison had her eye on. "Ooh! Do tell!" she said suddenly lighting up. She was glad she didn't have to talk about Teddy anymore it was a bizzare subject for her.

Allison shook her head playfully, "Aw, he's not so good! I mean Bel-Bel could take him anyday." She smiled. Allison was not very good at flying, but she loved to watch Quidditch.
Allison smiled, "See? I always know. You and Teddy are just great for each other." She flushed as Tori pressed her for info. "Well,"she began. "He's a Gryffindor. He's very nice. Plays on the Quidditch team. He's a Beater. O.J Wood. His dad was amazing when he was here at school." Allison twisted her hands in her lap. "There's only one problem."
