Victoire Weasley sat on a stool in The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade Village. She was twirling a loose lock of her platinum blonde hair and biting her lip at the same time. She was incredibly nervous and had that feeling in her stomach that she always got whenever she was nervous. Her brown eyes kept on looking over at the door every time someone entered. She had yet to find who she was looking for. The bar was loud and seemed as busy as always. She seemed slightly out of place but she didn't care. For the third time she looked herself over to make sure she looked alright. She wore her platinum blonde with brown hair back with some curls and she put on a bit more make-up then usual. She was wearing a hot pink tank-top, denim mini skirt and black stiletto heels with a leather jacket over the ensemble. She normally didn't get this dressed up but then again she didn't go on dates all of the time either. And this date in particular was one that was long overdue in her opinion.
She reached into her hotpink with black lace clutch bag and pulled out a tube of red lipstick and quickly applied it to her lips. She was never this nervous but she hadn't seen Teddy Lupin in awhile. She turned around with a sigh and said to the bartender "Cane I have a butterbeer please?". The bartender cocked an eyebrow at her and turned around to fix her drink. she rolled her eyes at his rudeness and turned back to loking at the doorway. "Ms? Your drink is ready." the bartender said. But Victoire wasn't paying any attention because at that moment the person she was seeking had just arrived.

It had been a very long time since he had seen her, and he was slightly nervous when he got up that morning, knowing that in a few short hours, he would once again be face to face with the girl he had always wanted to be with, but had never been able to ask out. He decided today, to not do anything super crazy with his hair, or eyes or anything, like he had planned for the first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson with the kids, -they always liked it when he used his metamorphaugus powers to make class a little more entertaining, after all. Instead, his hair was its usual soft brown shade, not too long, and not too short, his bright blue eyes looking out from under his bangs.
He looked himself over in the mirror once more, wearing a pair of nice blue jeans, and a button up blue shirt, not the normal attire of Teddy Lupin, but definitely date attire. After all, this was sort of a reunion and first date with Victorie Weasley, a girl he had gone to school with for many years, and evidently gotten very close to before he graduated a year earlier than her. Then he had spent a year and a half basically backpacking across all of Europe, staying where ever he felt like it the night, and exploring every land he found. Then he had been a fill in for a month or two during the end of the previous term at Hogwarts, and got the job offered to him at the start of the summer.
Glad to be back at Hogwarts, he had taken the offer immeadetly, and had hoped to find Victorie, but remembered she had graduated. Now what was he left to do, he wanted so badly to get in touch with the beautiful blonde. He sent her an owl explaining his new situation and how much he wanted to see her again, and she had told him as well that she would be teaching at the school as a sub for the first part of the new term after summer. So now, the first weekend into the school year, the two were going to meet in the Three Broomsticks for a drink, and a reunion, and to see where things will go from there.
Deciding that he would not look any better ten minutes from now, Teddy put his wand in his back pocket, and left his bed chambers in the castle, taking his time to make his way down the cobbled path from the school to the little village of Hogsmeade. He ran into several people that knew him as the crazy kid that went to school up at the castle, and was always causing problems and sneaking off with that Potter boy, (one of Teddy's best friends ever is the oldest Potter son, Sirius) and they all smiled at him, looking all nice and cleaned up, and without an unnatural color in his hair at all.
Now he was standing in front of the pub, and he drew in one deep breath for one last jolt of calming and confidence. He pushed the door open and the little bells at the top tinkled letting the owner know there was a new customer in the building. He looked over the bar, and caught eye of the bar tender, and nodded, she knew to get him a nice sized glass of firewhiskey, the same thing he had been drinking for years when he came to this bar. He then saw who he was really looking for. Sitting over in the corner booth, was a blond girl with slightly pale features, and a small build. Victorie was as gorgeous as ever in his eyes, and he grabbed his drink from the barkeeper and pointed toward that table, indicating that that was where he was going to be sitting.
She nodded, and he then made his way across the crowded pub to the little table in the back. When he noticed that she had seen him, he caught her eyes, and sat down next to her in the snug booth. "You look amazing, Torie," he said softly, picking up her hand that was on the table, and kissing the top of it, and then each finger on its own, before he ever took a sip of his drink. "How've you been?" he asked hoping she was well in ever aspect. He missed her like crazy, and hoped he was not already messing up, hoping she had not found someone else to love and to not have just made a complete fool of himself.

Victoire couldn't help but blush when Teddy kissed her hand. It made her feel like it was a year ago and she was a silly girl in love again. "Thanks, Teddy. You look quite dapper yourself." she said with a wink. She quickly looked him over and couldn't help but smile. He looked just as handsome as ever.
"I'm doing fine. I'm excited to start working at Hogwarts." she said, taking another sip of her butterbeer. Over the summer, Professor McGonagell had paid her a visit and had asked if she would want to maybe sub in for the Charms teacher Professor Flitwick who was attending to some family issues. Of course Victoire had said yes. She knew why McGonagell wanted her to teach, it was because she was always Flitwick's best and favorite student.
"So, what about you? How was your sumer?" she asked. What she really wanted to know was if he had met someone but of course she couldn't just come right out and say it. She looked into his blue eyes and smiled again. She had always loved Teddy's eyes, they were his best feature, she was glad he hadn't changed them.

There was no way to hide the smile that crossed his face a little wider than the previous one when she said he was looking good as well. He had so hoped that she would be talking to him like this, the way they used to, flirting kindly back and forth, just waiting for the other to make a move. But he was not sure of how to approach this, he wanted to just tell her he’s been holding out for her, hoping they would get the chance to be together again, but that might seem to straight forward, and that was not usually the Teddy Lupin style.
Victorie changed the subject back to school, and how she was excited to be working there. She explained that she would be a sub for the Charms teacher for a while when he was attending to some important family matters. “I still can’t believe I’m a teacher,” he mused more to himself than to her. It was the full truth though, because he had never thought, the helper of some of the pranksters in the groups of friends he grew up in, that they would ever even allow him as a teacher. Of course, he also did not think the other teachers were so dense not to know what mischief Cameryn and Chase got into all the time, and to let Cam be a prefect.
“My summer was busy, getting some stuff packed up I did not have before, ready to make my office and bed chambers more… Me, than they were last year so to speak.” He told her with a grin. The previous year when he had taken his sub job, the office and bedroom had been so oriented to the previous teacher, he could barely stand living in a place so unfamiliar to him. It was definitely not the way he planned to go through out this year.
“The past year or so has done you well though I see, because you look as beautiful as ever,” he said with more than a hint of flirting in his tone. “But of course, I have been wondering since before I sent you the owl, have you found someone for yourself? Surely you haven’t been single the past two years since I left school?” he inquired curiously, hoping to God that it was not the case, and that she did not have anyone waiting on her. Because if she did, he would feel completely stupid right now, sitting here flirting with her, and hoping for her to be his girlfriend by the time they left the pub.
Taking a small sip of his firewhiskey, Ted smiled up at her with his sparkling blue eyes. He knew she loved them this color and that was one reason they were the color they would be naturally. Or the color he supposed they would be naturally. Today of course, he did not have any outrageous colors in his hair or anything, but from time to time he did, and that was always fun, he loved being able to change his appearance at will, it gave him the freedom to look however he felt. But he rarely changed his appearance much more than his hair, although to confuse people back in the day, he would change to look like a friend. That was always good for a laugh.
He looked deep into her bright colored eyes, and grinned. “So, what I’m getting at I suppose, is do you have a boyfriend right now?” he asked her, deciding to be straight to the point, and not wasting time anymore. Waiting much longer for the answer could kill him, or so he felt. Now he watched her carefully, hoping some body language would give it away so he did not have to wait for her to say something, but no matter what, he figured he would get his answer now that he had actually asked his question.

"Yeah, you being a teacher is quite funny." she laughed and then took another sip of her drink. She couldn't stop staring at Teddy's eyes. They were more gorgeous than she remembered. Victoire had to try her hardest not to grab him and kiss him right then and there.
She blushed when he called her beautiful again. "Umm, I've dated around but I'm currently single. What about you, hot stuff?" she said and then covered her mouth with her hand. She couldn't believe she just said that. That wasn't playing it cool like she had told herself before. No, that was just being incredibly stupid. It was one thing to call him that when they were still dating but to say that after not seeing him in a year was just dumb. She couldn't believe she let that slip out! She laughed nervously and hoped he wouldn't think she was crazy or anything. She took another huge gulp of her drink and laughed again hoping to make it seem like she was in control and wasn't as nervous as she really was. She smiled shyly and waited for his reaction to her stupidity.

She agreed with him on his comments on him being a teacher. He really honestly never thought he would be, although it was like a dream job to the nineteen year old young man. He nervously ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it slightly. Stupid nervous habits, what was he supposed to do about them though? That’s right, try and play it cool and act like its not killing him to hear her answer to his previous question.
When she told him she had dated around, his eyes lifted hopefully, and then she called him ‘hot stuff’ which was a sort of pet name he had been given by her in school. He grinned at being called that, it had been so long, and that was a reassuring way to know that she was definitely not with someone at the current moment, even if she did not know it. She covered her mouth with her hand, as though she could not believe she had said that just now. She looked slightly embarrassed and he could not find a reason for her to be.
The glass leaving the table and hitting it once more was the only sound when she took another huge gulp of her drink. He smiled at her, and lightly picked up his own drink and took a seemingly much smaller sip. Even though he knew it was sort of mean, she was so cute at the moment while she was sweating the fact that she had let his old pet name slip out, he watched her be nervous. With a grin and his drink to his lips again, he was pondering his next course of action, and when he finally decided on one, he set his drink down again.
Teddy moved closer to her in their booth, and put his arm around her and kissed her cheek lightly. With his signature smile, which was only completed by the sparkling blue eyes that showed just how happy he was at the moment he heard that, he just looked at her for a moment that seemed forever. He hoped that little gesture was enough to say he was still single as well, but if it was not, he leaned in close to her once more, and whispered in her ear, “I missed you baby girl,” and nibbled the edge of her ear.
Sitting up straighter once more, he looked at her with his pale blue eyes, and said, “I’ve been around a few times too, but nothing that meant much of anything. I guess I’ve been holding out, hoping I’d get another chance with you…” Now normally, Teddy might have started a full on make out kiss with Torie, because that’s just how he used to act, because of hormones over taking right mind thinking. But this time, he cupped her chin in his hand, and tipped her face up to his, and whispered to her once more:
“I love you Victorie,” and with that he put just the right amount of pressure from his lips to hers, pressing them together, and gently teasing her with his tong and after a brief kiss, pulled away.

Victoire was so busy being embarassed and trying to cover it up that she barely realized what he had said. She turned around after he told her that he missed her and she smiled. He still loved her. She remembered how he used to call her "baby girl" when they first started their relationship a couple of years ago.
She looked back into his eyes and was so taken by them that she was speechless, and had realised that she had fallen head over heels for him all over again. "Well, Teddy nobody could really compare to you." she giggled and then snuggled up next to him. she hadn't been this happy in a long time. She had almost forgotten how wonderful she had felt around Teddy.
"Teddy, I-" she began but was interrupted by his kiss. His kiss felt natural and perfect, just like she remembered it. Once again, he had beaten her to the point. And what made it even better was that he had told her that he loved her. At that moment everything was perfect and she didn't have a care in the world. She looked back up at him and said "I love you too, Teddy." and kissed him back a bit more passionately before and then kissed him once more, softly. She didn't care who was watching all that mattered was that he was hers again. When she was done, she ran her fingers through his hair and grinned "How was that?" she asked mischieviously.

Ted grinned as he realized that he caught her mid sentence with his kiss. It was such an innocent thing, something they had long enjoyed, even before they had officially declared themselves a couple way back when. It seemed like so long ago, and Teddy was not sure what had compelled him to take that backpacking trip across Europe, but as much as he had enjoyed it, it would have been ten thousand times better if Tori had come with him.
When the kiss had ended she had said softly and lovingly back to him, that she too loved him. He knew it was true because she seemed to (as he had) not given up hope on restoring their love once they could be together again. And them both being employees at Hogwarts together gave them the advantage they had during school, when they could see each other pretty much every day with the exception of during classes. No matter how the two of them were some of the most unlikely teachers ever, he knew they would both do a good job at it.
On the verge of opening his mouth to say something, Teddy was caught with a mouth full of a second kiss from Victorie. She was very passionate in her kiss, it was as though he could feel the longing and love pouring out of her. It was all those feelings he had had bottled up inside from the moment he left her, until today when he first saw her across the room. It was a longing and almost lust that he felt toward her and had been harboring ever since he left.
How he had managed all that time without her, he still didn’t know, but when she pulled away from him and he still wanted more, it became evident that he would not ever leave her again. Ted did not think he could handle that again. She looked up at him innocently and said, ‘How was that?’ He smiled at her, with his gorgeous smile, and said, “Amazing baby girl, and from here it only gets better,” With that he kissed her cheek again and then teased her a little more with the kisses, running his hand through her soft blond hair, then nibbling on her earlobe a little.
Teddy had pretty much forgotten the crowded room, and even the drink in front of him, as he moved to kiss her neck softly, his only just growing beard possibly a little scratchy on her skin. Ted was too lazy to shave, but because of his powers of appearance change, he could pretty much get rid of it without shaving, but he thought that having a little stubble kind of looked nice. But out of consideration for Tori he concentrated for a moment on that while he kissed her neck, and it went away, he could always have it come back when they were done kissing. But for now, he did not want anything ruining it, because this was the moment he had wanted for so very long, and it was finally here.

Victoire couldn't believe how amazing this was going. She had originally thought that she'd get her hopes up about getting back together with Teddy only to discover that he had gotten married in Germany and now had 10 kids or something crazy like that. But instead her hopes and dreams had come true. Teddy was hers again. And nothing could've possibly made this moment of pure bliss better.
She remembered when she first realised that she and Teddy belonged together and that she wanted him back. She had been to America over the summer to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. They were having a huge Andy Warhol exhibit and of course Tori had to go. She spent a couple of weeks there and visited the museum every day to get inspiration for her photography and drawings. While she was there she had met a young man named Greg. He was one of those underground punk-rock guys and he was also there for the exhibit. Needless to say she had thought she had finally gotten over Teddy and had fallen in love with Greg but she hadn't. She was still completely and fully in love with Teddy which was a shame because Greg was a sweetheart but he wasn't Teddy. That's when she finally realised she wasn't over him. And when she had returned to England she had gotten a letter from Teddy saying that he wanted to speak with her in person. She had replied and they set up a date and she had had many sleepless nights dreading what was going to happen and now finally she knew the truth.
Tori giggled as Teddy kissed her neck. "So tell me Teddy, how was Europe? You didn't say much in your letter." she asked placing her arms around his neck and snuggling up against him. She wanted to hear all about how wonderful Europe was and just sit and talk and kiss like this forever. She closed her eyes so that she can picture every wonderful place her Teddy had been to imagining that she was there with him.
